Sopheze Coffee Lounge and Catering has become legendary in Timaru and beyond. Established in 2004 by the mother and daughter team, Juelaine and Vanessa Keen. 

We aim to provide fast service while you are on your break, so you can pick up to take-away or to enjoy cafe-style service inside or on our outside terrace. As well as ready-to-go cabinet food, you can create your own salad, or order from our Breakfast, Brunch Lunch or afternoon tea menu.

Our all-day menu includes Toasted Sandwiches, Bacon Butty's, Nachos, B.L.T's., Burgers, Crumbed Fish Salads, Cheese Rolls, Bacon & Egg Muffin, Spring rolls, Samosas, Fries or Wedges, Scones, and Slices. Our children's menu includes; Chicken Nuggets, Mini Sausages, Fish and Hot Dog with fries.

After 14 amazing years, the Sopheze Café at Mitre10 MEGA served its final coffee on 30th September 2024. Our other venues—Sopheze Coffee Lounge on Stafford Street and Sopheze on the Bay catering venue remain in full swing! We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our incredible customers and staff who’ve been part of this journey.
